Employees who are summoned for jury duty will be paid at least $40.00 or
their regular daily wage, whichever is less, for each of the first three
days by the dealership. Thereafter, you will be granted an unpaid leave in
order to serve. If available, you may use any unused sick or vacation time
for the remaining time serving jury duty. The State will compensate those
serving jury duty $40.00 per day starting on the third day until completion
of the trial.
You should make arrangements with your supervisor as soon as you receive
your summons. In fairness to our company, you are expected to return to your
job if you are excused from jury duty during your regular working hours.
