employees are eligible for paid vacation time.
Vacation is calculated according to your anniversary date as follows:
After 1 year, you will receive 1 week of vacation.
After 2 years, you will receive 2 weeks of vacation.
After 3 years, and each year thereafter, you will receive 2 weeks of
vacation plus one additional day for each year worked, up to a maximum of 15
days (3 weeks).
After 15 years of service 1 additional week of vacation will be earned for a
total of 20 days (4 weeks).
Requests for vacation should be submitted in writing at least one month in
advance to your supervisor. When possible, vacation periods will be assigned
in accordance with employee requests, taking operating requirements into
account. Generally speaking, length of employment determines priority in
scheduling vacation times.
Vacation time may be carried over to the following year. Vacation Pay can be
taken in lieu of time off at the rate of up to 5 days every 3 months.
Upon termination unused vacation time is forfeited.
