School Visitation

Full-time employees who are parents, guardians or acting in place of the parents of a school-aged child and have completed their introductory period will be allowed four hours without pay per year, at a mutually agreed upon time, so that the employee may attend their child's school conference or other classroom activity if such activity cannot be scheduled during non-work hours. You must provide a written request for the leave 48 hours before the time desired for the leave and verification from the school that you attended or were otherwise involved at the school during the time of the leave. Vacation time or sick time may be used if available.
